This old tree is covered in moss. That's typical in these woods: sooner or later everything gets covered in a layer of green. They say the grass is always greener on the other side. They say a lot of things. I've always wondered who they are.
The scene from the Viewpoint today was still autumnal, but there were new patches of snow on the mountains in many places, and the overall impression was one of bleakness. The little ceramic bowl with the fish painted on its side was gone, although the wheeled cart with a handle that appeared around the same time was still there. I wonder whether anyone will claim it.
