Stand two feet apart, and the results may be miles apart.

It may seem sort of repetitive, but I've dealt with certain things a good deal more than once.

Although there are sunny days at this time of year, there are many rainy ones, too. The weather changes quickly, and often.

Beautiful weather today! This is an idyllic time of year.

I don't actually know anything about this couple--assuming I can call them a couple. If they haven't fallen in love yet, I hope they do soon.

The park was unusually silent the evening it snowed, which was a few days ago now.

It's almost the last day of the year, but I'm still thinking of July, August, September--those months. It was a clear, cold day today, with no snow. The ground was frozen this morning. It gets dark early, but soon it will be January, the month when some of the most amazing sunrises take place.

In the distance, Husky Stadium is almost always visible--unless there's heavy fog.

The edge is always thrown into stark relief at night.

And now it's the 5th. When am I going to make it to the Viewpoint again?

It's late. What can I say? Ignore the hot spot. I didn't think to bring a lens hood with me.

It's late. What can I say? I can only think of the future tonight. Sometimes when I go to the Viewpoint, I end up wishing I'd brought a hood for my lens. But I have to go with the flow, even if I get an imperfect image.

You'll often see lovers under the laurel tree. Some are very passionate; others are just getting to know each other, I suppose.

The Other Evening

The other evening the lights were so beautiful as dusk fell upon the vast expanse one sees from the Viewpoint.

Unruly Place

Now on to the next painting. The Viewpoint is a visually unruly place, and that simply can't be changed. With November almost half over, December will be here soon. The Lovers will lose their leaves, and the whole place will be a bunch of sticks. The mountains will be covered with snow. Then comes January and the glorious sunrises that sometimes occur in that month, due to cirrus clouds that seem to come when it's very cold--by Seattle standards.
